Night Crew Clean up & Prep

We’re seeking a Night Crew Team Member to handle end-of-day cleaning, restocking, and morning prep work at Coffee Cup Co. You’ll work after closing hours to make sure the store is spotless, organized, and ready for the next day’s rush.

This role is perfect for night owls, students, or anyone who enjoys working in a calm, focused environment with minimal customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Store Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean, sanitize, and organize all front-of-house and back-of-house areas, including espresso machines, counters, tables, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors; wipe down windows and doors.
• Take out trash, recycling, and compost following store policies.
• Deep clean espresso and brewing equipment per nightly checklist.

Restocking & Prep

• Refill all ingredients, paper goods, and supplies (coffee beans, milk, syrups, lids, cups, napkins, etc.).
• Prepare pastries and cold items for the next day’s display.
• Check inventory levels and report any shortages to the shift supervisor.
• Organize storage and ensure all items are labeled and rotated properly (FIFO method).

Operational Support

• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Secure the store by completing end-of-night lock-up checklist.
• Communicate with morning shift team members through daily log notes.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing filters, checking equipment temperatures).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in janitorial, cleaning, or food service preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with store access responsibilities.
