Quality Assurance Lab Tech

As a Quality Assurance Lab Tech at our local brewery, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our beer products. You will work hands-on in our lab, performing tests on various batches to uphold our high standards of excellence and safety.

Responsibilities

• • Conduct regular quality tests on beer samples to ensure they meet specifications.
• • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and cleanliness.
• • Document and analyze test results, providing feedback to production teams.
• • Implement quality control procedures and assist in developing testing methods.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
• • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the lab environment.
• • Assist in training new lab staff on quality assurance protocols.

Requirements

• • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• • 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance lab role, preferably in the beverage industry.
• • Strong understanding of laboratory testing methods and quality control processes.
• • Proficient with laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
• • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• • Experience in brewing science is a plus.
